ABOUT RHYTHM DYNAMICS
Rhythm Dynamics Inc. was started by Robert Funk. Bob is a member of the legendary NY based horn section, The Uptown Horns. Over the years, besides major performances and recording with artists The Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, James Brown, etc. , he wrote, arranged and produced music. Some of his co-writing and writing credits include music for The Comedy Channel, TNT, The Food Channel (The James Beard Awards), ESPN, RCA, EMI, Virgin Records, HBO, Rhino Records and VHI (Buster's Happy Hour). He also contributed the title track to Larry McCray's album "Delta Hurricane" and co-produced and wrote the critically acclaimed "Uptown Horns Revue" cd release.
On the heels of all this Bob formed Rhythm Dynamics Inc, a label and production company in 1999. The company released "Tre Phunque", an eclectic mix of funky world music that includes performances by Brian Mitchell, Ivan Bodley and Jon Gordon. The same year Rhythm Dynamics released "Rhythm Dynamics Vol 1, (Sets 1 - 4) music that was geared to the dance and fitness markets. In 2001, "Energy in Motion", an upbeat mosaic of musical styles of cutting edge techno, rock and music from around the world was released. Energy in Motion won praise from Eric Harr, a San Francisco area TV host, professional athlete and writer. The following year Bob wrote and produced music for the "Results Thru Research" health and fitness series.
JAZZ MY SOUL, co-produced by Bob Funk and released by Rhythm Dynamics was picked as one of the top 25 independent release cds of 2007 by the editors at Indie-music.com - December 3, 2007. Jazz My Soul has earned praise from critics both in the US and worldwide. Rhythm Dynamics is proud to add JAZZ MY SOUL by the Jazz Explorers to our roster of music.
